President Mas will travel Monday to Brussels, where he will meet with European Commission Vice Presidents Olli Rehn and Maros Sefkovic

The President of the Catalan Government, Artur Mas, will travel next Monday, September 30, to Brussels, where he has a full schedule of meetings with EU authorities, including interviews with Vice Presidents Olli Rehn and Maros Sefkovic as well as the Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, Lázsló Andor.
 
This will be the seventh official visit of the head of the Catalan Executive to Brussels. He will be accompanied by the Catalan Minister of Economy and Knowledge, Andreu Mas-Colell, the Secretary of Foreign and European Union Affairs, Roger Albinyana, and the Head of the Delegation of the Government of Catalonia to the European Union, Pere Puig.
 
President Mas' schedule begins at 9:30am with the meeting with the Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, Lázsló Andor, in the headquarters of the European Commission. The interview will be held behind closed doors, but photographs may be taken before the meeting starts.
 
At 11am, the President of the Generalitat will hold a press conference at the headquarters of the Government's Delegation to the EU, in order to provide information about his visit to the EU capital.
 
In continuation, Artur Mas will return to the European Commission headquarters to meet with Vice President Ollie Rehn, the commissioner responsible for Economic and Monetary Affairs, over a lunch meeting, which will take place at 1pm. The meeting will be held behind closed doors, but photographs may be taken beforehand in the vice president's office.
 
Next, also in the EC headquarters, President Mas will meet with Vice President Maros Sefkovic, the commissioner responsible for Interinstitutional Relations and Administration. The meeting will be held behind closed doors, but photographs may be taken before the meeting begins.
 
Finally, the head of the Catalan Executive will return to the headquarters of the Government's Delegation to the EU where, at 3:45pm, he will meet with Catalan members of the European Parliament and, at 4:15pm, he will meet with Catalans who work in European institutions.
